Milan’s Salone
2024 Salone del Mobile in Milan was transcendent—style to food.
The Alcova satellite fair was full of new Salone talent. This year, it took over two historic mansions outside the city—the 19th-century Villa Balgatti Valsecchi and the 1945 Villa Borsani. Crowd favorites included the multifaceted studio Objects of Common Interest.
In the Brera design district, Loewe commissioned 24 artists and designers from around the world to reimagine lamps.
And the large fair was unique in its own right.
